Our library celebrated record-breaking summer engagement, a 6% increase in market penetration this spring, and expanding our reach beyond the walls of our libraries through StoryWalks®, accessible collections on Wi-Fi solar benches, and development of new community partnerships. Pioneer Library System is reimagining services to meet the critical needs of Oklahomans. What other entity exists to grow the workforce, build critical STEAM skills, develop young readers and learners, convene community through open dialogue, and provide health literacy all in one place? The library enables anyone from any background to build their skills at any age. As Board Chair, I am amazed at the ways in which PLS is cultivating community in Oklahoma, and I'm proud to have been a part of this year's growth.
